The Cohousing Summit: Seattle is a one-day gathering for anyone drawn to deeper connection—whether you already live in community, are working to create one, or are simply curious about new ways of living well together. The summit explores how cohousing and other community-rooted housing models can foster belonging, expand housing choices, and support people across all stages of life.
Through interactive breakout sessions, engaging conversations, and plenty of opportunities to connect, the day is designed to offer both practical insight and a meaningful sense of community. The summit is co-chaired by Grace Kim—renowned architect, TED speaker, and co-founder of Schemata Workshop—and Mike Mariano, co-owner of Schemata Workshop. Both are founding members of Capitol Hill Urban Cohousing, a multigenerational community in the heart of Seattle.
Elderberry Commons Cohousing will be part of the event, featuring both a display booth and a speaker, offering a great opportunity to learn more about our forming 55+ cohousing community and connect with members.
We’ll also be hosting a no-host dinner at a local restaurant on May 16—an informal chance to continue the conversation and spend more time together.
